Snake River Ranch and JH Outfiitting Company invite you to experience a unique and thrilling winter sport that is all the rage in the Rocky Mountain West. Cowboy style skijoring perfectly combines Nordic tradition with Jackson Hole’s horse loving ranch heritage. Packed with action and incredible scenery, with options for skiers, snowboarders and snow-tube riders, this is a wintry Wyoming must-try that is sure to please every adventurous spirit. 

What to Expect:

Gather at our cabin in Teton Village to review safety guidelines over warm beverages. A scenic sleigh ride will deliver you to the skijoring course to relax around the campfire and cheer as each guest is invited to take 2 runs through the course, once in each direction. Both skiers and snowboarders are welcome but must come prepared with their own equipment including helmet. Younger guests and those that prefer an alternative may choose to enjoy 2 rides on an inflatable snow-tube. No experience is necessary, learn at your own speed. Thank the friendly horses with a pat and a treat before a pleasant return sleigh ride brings your experience to an end. 

Important Information: 

• Price: $200 per person, open booking. 
• Capacity: Up to 8 people per session. 
• Duration: Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
• Attire: Guests should dress warmly, in layers, with hat, gloves, and boots recommended for winter conditions.
• Equipment: Guests must provide their own skis or snowboard, ski/snowboard boots and helmet to skijor. 
• Age Requirements: Must be age 10 & up to skijor, age 6 & up may snow-tube. Children age 2 to 6 may ride the sleigh and spectate for a reduced rate.
