Snake River Ranch was founded in 1929 when Stanley B. Resor purchased land sight unseen, inspired by his son’s unforgettable summer in Jackson Hole. What began as a traditional cow-calf operation has evolved over five generations into a family-run ranch focused on grazing yearling cattle on our irrigated pastures from spring through fall.
For nearly a century, Snake River Ranch has stood as a steward of the land and a symbol of the valley’s ranching heritage. Nearly half of the ranch is protected by conservation easements, reflecting our deep commitment to preserving the natural beauty and open spaces of the Tetons.
We proudly raise quality beef using sustainable practices that support soil health, biodiversity, and wildlife habitat—ensuring this landscape thrives for generations to come.
Celebrate your wedding or special event with Grand Teton views, historic charm, and unmatched privacy.
We’ve been committed to sustainable ranching since 1929—rotational grazing, wildlife protection, and conservation easements are just part of our promise to the land.
